Evaluation- Question 2

How effective are your ancillary tasks in relation to your short film?

From this focus group I got the information that I needed to change my film poster completely because we were running behind schedule with our actual film itself. My film poster wasn't finished so I presented it as so. I got the information from the focus group that my film poster is more horror than science fiction, to change this I ma going to take more images of the main character. We haven't had much time to work on our ancillary tasks as we have been focusing on our main short film. Regarding my double page spread I had only written up my article in the form of a interview. I didn't see why I should show them only my article not presented. I wouldn't be able to get any effective feedback on it. My article is a Q&A with the main character and I feel like this is more effective as the audience would feel like they're getting to know the real actress. I found that my strongest point within my movie poster is my photography. After my double page spread and short film poster is complete I am planning on doing another focus group to find out on a whole how effective both my ancillary tasks are.

I have a lot to work on over the next week because I need to take pictures, edit them and change them completely. I need to pick a final design on how I want my film poster to look and I need to take stills from my short film to put into my double page spread.
