Filmed Feedback Discussion
After giving our class a presentation on what we are planning to do for our short film we received a lot of help regarding what to call the short and also how to end it. We have slightly changed the narrative due to the feedback we got however, we have kept the circular narrative the same but the idea is that she wakes up at the beginning and at the end because during the short she has a accident and she has flashbacks and begins to remember what's happened to her and because she's remembered what's happened to her the scientists who created her decide to wipe her memories. This leading to the end and she wakes up in her bed as like in the beginning. We needed help with mainly what to call it and how to end it. We've decided to call it Deja Vu, Lisa, a member of my group came up with it.
Little Red Riding Hood
Feminist: From a feminist point of view, Little Red Riding Hood could portray a world where the females are very dependent upon males; the woodcutter has to save Little Red and her grandma implying they can't defend themselves. Calling her 'Little Red' is patronising, it makes her seem inferior.
Socialist: From a socialist point of view, the story could comment on the possible interpretation of rape where the wolf 'eats' the grandma. Also, why is it a little girl that has to go off into the woods to be the carer for her grandma? Why is the grandma isolated in the woods on her own when she is ill?
Psychoanalyst: From a psychoanalyst's point of view, the characters in Little Red Riding Hood show controversial ways for that time such as, Little Red who is defying the expected normalities of a little girl, taking her own responsibilities into her own hands and not relying on the man

10.11.15
In today's lesson me and my group started a breakdown of our short film. We have begun breaking it down into scenes and identifying which editing techniques we're using, the costume and props of which we are using.
We need to make adjustments to our plot from our feedback from the whole class.
